Modernizing Romanian Higher Education: University Classification

On March 24 and 25, 2011, the “Modernizing Romanian Higher Education: University Classification” workshop took place in the Central Library Auditorium. Representatives of the European University Association, rectors, members of national councils as well as student and trade union representatives took part in the event. During the meeting, the agenda for modernizing Romanian higher education as it results from the provisions of National Education Law 1/2011 was presented. There was a special focus on university classification and study program ranking.
